The following are some of our main achievements from the last few years.

Gautrain - For People on the Move

The Gautrian System was opened to the public on June 2010, when Phase I was completed. Since then, several phases were completed, leading to a major change for the local community in terms of commuting and transportation.

Platinum VC invested and still supports the infrastructure and construction activities which made this project a reality.

King Shaka, Durban's Internation Airport

Being part of the ILEMEBE consortium, our company was involved in the construction and renovations, from 2007 until the commercial opening in May, 2010.

Mbombela Stadium

The Mbombela Stadium is also known as Africa's Wildest Stadium.
This was one of the ten venues for the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

Mumbai Monorail

Platinum VC is involved in one of the major developments of Mumbai's transportation infrastructure by taking part in the building of the Mumbai Monorail, which began in 2009. The monorail is currently under construction and its first stage is planned to become active in 2019. The first line is planned to be completed in August, 2013.

Platinum VC provides support in the infrastructure and electricity aspects of the project, leveraging our previous knowledge and experience from projects such as the Guatrian System in South Africa.

Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport

Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) is the newest and most developed airport in Sri Lanka. It is the country's third international airport and serves as a secondary hub for the main airlines.
Phase I of the project was active on 18 March 2013. Phase II is expected to be completed by 2016, and the main goal is to expand the airport's capacity.

Platinum VC took part in the construction and development of phase I, and will be involved in several aspects of Phase II.
